My dear friends,

I have ended my 2-year-long silence in February 2021. I needed this periode to get on terms with the idea that I will not be able to do anything against the Australian pedophile Paul Henry Dean, apart from testifying. India has a statute of limitations of 10 years for the type of crimes he has committed. Dean took advantage of this statue on November 14, 2018 in the context of my complaint against him for sexual abuse of my foundation's children.

I am relieved that a renowned Indian journalist, who lives in the same town as Dean in Visakhapatnam, AP – who has been stalking him relentlessly for two years despite Dean's complaints – wrote his third article with up-to-date evidence against him. The Tribunal’s next sitting is 10/May/2021.

Ten years ago, 5 boys from the Mary Ellen Gerber Foundation Trust did defy Dean's threats of mutilation and death when revealing to me their secret with regard to his deeds. I told them ‘I want to help you’, to encourage them to speak up and as it was the first time that someone dared to stand up against Dean, they trusted me.

Those brave boys revealed me everything, things even beyond imagining. After filing a police report, I also filed a complaint against Dean and his accomplices Eliazar Tumati Rose and Ruth Tumati for child sexual abuse in the MEG Children's Village in Puri on 5/Nov/2008.

The 10 years thereafter have been for me a relentless fight against Dean. He and his accomplices assisted by their handyman PK Patro, Head of the MEG Village, used all the tricks in the book and more trying to force me to withdraw my 4 complaints against them. In order to protect the children of my MEG Foundation, I did never give in to their blackmail and their three death threats.

The Puri Police considered the children's testimonies, which were followed by medical confirmations at the hospital, and choose to prosecute. After investigating Dean's behaviour, Puri Prison refused his bail request on three occasions.

In India, the prisoners are not fed, the relatives have to bring their food. As a result of this custom, Dean's accomplices could visit him in prison. So each day, one of his three accomplices came in with meals and left with his carefully thought out orders to divert from the MEG Foundation account the large sum to be paid for his release. With this action he committed a Breach of Trust.

Dean's tricks were boundless as he tried to get out of this prison. After faking a heart attack, he was transferred to Cuttack's, an easier place for him as no one there knew the character's tricks, nor his incredible journey as a forger.

After almost 4 months, Dean was released from prison on March 5, 2009. He immediately took up his well-experienced forgery tricks on new victims. This time it was for the SABOTAGE of the Mary Ellen Gerber Foundation Trust.

He forged false emails, signed by his accomplices and sent them to the children's sponsors to denigrate me and, more important, to divert their donations into the new bank account that he had been ordered to open.

At the same time, he returned hundreds of children to the streets. For him they were just a bargaining chip in order to collect the money necessary to bribe a good number of employees and others, and especially to oblige them, under threat of death, to remain silent about his perverse acts. Then, in order to make the sponsors believe that he was taking good care of the children, he sent them pictures of happy children from a year earlier!

On 21/Apr/2018, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the death penalty for child rapists, convicted of raping children under the age of 12. It took the murder of an 8-year-old girl preceded by a rape that started it all.

But this seems not to apply to Paul Henry Dean as he still does what he wants, with the life of whomever he wants. I can testify in what despicable way he treats people who do not obey his orders or who denounces him to the police, as he tried with slanders and false documents to put me in jail in order to force me to withdraw my first complaint against him and his accomplices…

As the good forger that he is, he knows how to change young children’s age by several years and change their names when they arrived in my Children's Villages, to allow raping them with impunity.

His practice of forger has also served him well to slip out of problems thanks to his scams and 7 passports of his forged identities, authenticated by his private collection of false stamps in the name of Indian authorities or other countries.

Even worse, when a teenager or an adult seemed to confide too much in someone outside, Dean knew how to pass off his death as a ‘so-called suicide, always by hanging’ in order to neutralise those who could expose his vile deeds. This has happened 5 times as far as I can tell. This has been told to me by sponsors close to these unfortunate victims. Among them are two of my former employees.

These two people (Rao and his wife) performed their work very well, and I worked very close with them to improve the education of the children.
Rao wrote me a letter, which I still have, telling me that he had discovered some weird things that he wanted to tell me about urgently…

In this letter, Rao wrote that Dean had ordered Patro to immediately transfer him with his wife to the 2nd village (450 km from Puri), to make him sign a contract to work with New Hope – and no longer with MEG – while offering him a large sum of money.

On the date Rao did send this letter, Dean was in prison. It could be the case that Rao had innocently confided in Patro who would have passed it on to Dean?

Rao refused to obey, because as the oldest of the family, he needed to stay in Puri with his parents. Eight days later Rao and his wife were both found hanged although they had no reason whatsoever to kill themselves. That says enough…

At that time, I had no idea of the magnitude of Dean's Machiavellianism. It was only when he was jailed on 14/Nov/2008 that bit by bit, the people who were defrauded by Dean revealed themselves to me, after reading about his arrest on the front pages of newspapers spread all over India and elsewhere.

Testimonies, both verbal and written, and newspaper clippings about Dean reached me from Australia, Italy, Belgium, Germany.

Honest people who  –  like me  –  trusted him, who wanted to help children and lepers, revealed the horrors Dean committed to defraud them. They originated from every state in India Dean had been to.

As such I now possess many original manuscripts of testimonies from his victims since 1984. It was shocking.

The thing that got me through all of these hardships is the unconditional LOVE my MEG kids have shown me every day since their arrival in 2000 and on Facebook nowadays.

I love them very much and thank them from the bottom of my heart.
