About Mary Ellen Gerber

1980 to 1996 – Founder/President of the Gerber Hinge Company in Los Angeles USA.
1989 Inventor of the Gerber Hinge # 4,864,688 in Washington DC, on September 12, 1989.
1997 to 2010 – Founder/President of “The Mary-Ellen Gerber Foundation” in USA – only Founder for the Foundations in India - Canada - France and Holland. The donations from USA - Canada - France and Holland were sent to India to: “Mary Ellen Gerber Foundation Trust” for the education of underprivileged children in India.
2000 to 2008 – Constructions of 3 MEG children Villages with schools at Puri - Orissa in 2000, Kothavalasa - Andhra Pradesh in 2003, and Pondicherry in 2005. Education and vocational training for 243 children.
In 2008, MEG denounced to the police the supervisor Paul Dean for sexual abuses on children. After 4 months in jail he was released with a large amount of bail taken by Ruth Tumati from the Mary Ellen Gerber Foundation Trust’s account, which is a Breach of Trust.
Out of jail, Paul Dean and his accomplices sabotaged the Foundation. The MEG Children Villages and schools were closed and children were send back to the streets as the President Ruth Tumati did not register the Foundation in Orissa.
2013 – In France: Founder/President of the Nonprofit French Association: Rompre le Silence pour Libérer l’Enfant – RSLE - (Break the Silence to liberate the Children).
2015 – Author of the book: Rompre le Silence pour Libérer l’Enfant – RSLE - in French
Author of the book: Break the Silence to liberate the Children - in English
2015 - Author of the: E-Book-EN-Illustrated in English updated until 2018.

The Association RSLE is a nonprofit organization, registered under the French law 1901, no: W891004088. It is financed by MEG and by donations.
